It is recommended that you are equipped with the right mapping and instructional equipments when traveling through rough roads because you might have some difficulty in going to that point. Although, you need not worry because in terms of traveling, it is definitely safely incorporated with the sharp curves and fixed single-bridged roads. By the time you have figured out the twists and turns and how to outrun it, you can already compete with Gran Prix races.
While traveling, you will start to appreciate different sights like one of the popular Ke’anea Peninsula. This portrays just one of the most wonderful sights going to Hana. Don’t hesitate to travel down the peninsula and before you leave, catch a glimpse of the taro fields. You may also want to take a quick reroute to the Pua’aka’a Park wherein a beautiful waterfall is at its core.

After a much deserved meal, feast your eyes with beautiful works of art at the Hana Coast Gallery which is known for being one of the well-appreciated galleries in the heart of Hawaii. Being energized from lunch gives you more reason to take a 3-mile hike to the Fagan’s Cross that is perched on a high hill that is just above the soil of Hana. You will have a breathtaking view of the harbor of Hana and the coasts nearby.
The entire trip will have a total of 180 miles. This encompasses the trip from West Maui going to Hana and around the southernmost part of East Maui. The trip may give you some hard time manipulating your vehicle and getting to one place in very sweaty underpants but hey, it’s worth the travel. Your experience can’t be replaced by just sitting in one corner and moping about how dangerous the curves are. You will never regret visiting Hana in Maui, Hawaii and that is an assurance.

Choosing the Best Cruise Lines for Your Honeymoon Cruise
October 25, 2008 by honeymooner
Going on a cruise is fun and exciting. If you are a newly wed couple, a cruise probably is one of the best ways of spending your honeymoon. It is probably the best getaway that money can buy. A cruise to anywhere means a honeymoon travel experience of a lifetime enjoying both water and land activities.
Most people think that taking a cruise is a pricey recreation. In the past, it may have cost thousands of dollars to get a ticket. As cruises have become more and more popular, the costs have come down considerably. It is good to remember that, while the cost is higher than a simple hotel stay, all your meals and activities are included in the price. Sometimes, even your alcoholic drinks are part of the package: be sure to ask.
The very first consideration is the cruise package. You can save a lot of your travel dollars if you plan your cruise trip wisely. You can find the greatest deals and cruise trip discounts, if you’re willing to spend a little time on research.
Carefully planning your honeymoon cruise can also give you a step-by-step cruise itinerary and the memorable vacation of a lifetime.
Aside from that, another great thing to do is to look for the best cruise lines. The best cruise lines must be able to give the client a cheap fare and fees. Aside from that, cruise lines must have varied activities and programs, as well as, good customer service.
Speaking of cruise lines, there are many dazzling ranges of cruise lines available to choose from. Each and every one of them promises to get you to many different honeymoon destinations.
But not only that, a great cruise is not just about the destination at all. One of the best characteristics of cruise lines is to have a large variety of cruise services. For example, the best cruise lines must have the capacity to shift from one place to another.
The most popular places for cruise trips are Alaska, Hawaiian Islands, Baja Mexico, the Panama Canal, and Caribbean Sea. The best cruises would bring you to those places. Aside from that, great cruises must have a reasonable price.
In recent years, as cruising has grown in popularity, more and more cruise lines have come on the scene. Competition has heated up, and this is reflected in their advertising. As the big cruise lines vie for their piece of your travel dollar, some of their advertising claims have ventured into the realm of the unbelievable. As you do your research, pay attention to the tagline. But, you must be careful of them also. Some taglines are only intended only to catch your attention. So compare, compare, compare, before you book your honeymoon cruise.
The best cruise lines should be luxurious, but affordable. They must try to give the customer a taste of a fantastic experience without costing too much. Another important thing to remember is cruise lines should offer many amenities and services not found in other types of vacations.
Proper customer amenities must also be given to customers. For example, services like spa treatments, evening recreation, dance classes, sporting activities, casinos, entertainment and plenty of other recreational activities to perform inside the ship.
Best cruise lines should also be very particular with the food they serve. They must offer both new and traditional ways of dining. The process of dining must also be closely observed. For example, if you want to eat, make sure you can eat what you want, where you want to, and when you want to before deciding to book your honeymoon with that cruise line.
In order to find the best cruise lines, the best thing to do is to research well. By spending the time doing this, you can find the lowest price possible. You can also find the best type of cruise lines that fit what you are looking for and how much you can afford to spend on your honeymoon cruise.
You can research for the best cruise lines conveniently at home over the net. There are many websites that offer information about the best types of cruise lines. Aside from that, there are also websites that offer suggestions regarding how to choose the best type of cruise ships. The best ship for you will have a lot of factors to consider.
Having enough information is also great. For example, if the room is in the lower part of the ship, the rooms are usually lower priced. On the other hand, a suite is indeed the most luxurious choice for space and priced accordingly.
Booking your honeymoon cruise as early as possible can also be the best way for choosing cruise lines with an eye to saving money. Most of the cruise lines offer good discounts and deals when booked several months in advance. On the other hand, if you can just pick up and go…you can also save quite a bit of money on your cruise vacation by booking last minute empty spots with the cruise line. This method of saving on your travel costs is similar to flying stand by.
Most of the shipping lines will clearly describe the ports of call and itinerary, not just the final destination. Always remember that the best cruise lines have an interest to give you the best services possible at the lowest possible prices.
The cruise programs are also one of the factors in deciding which are the best cruise lines for you. Programs must be very entertaining and recreational. Programs like snorkeling, fishing, diving, onboard movie watching, discos, ballroom dancing and lots more are what you need to look out for.
Spending some time in advance choosing the best cruise line for you is indeed important and goes a long way towards making your honeymoon cruise more enjoyable. Book your honeymoon with the shipping lines as early as possible to grab this great opportunity.
Travel Tips for Honeymooning in Aruba or the World

Planning a honeymoon or vacation to Aruba? You’ll love Aruba’s mild climate with a fairly steady temperature in the low 80’s. Aruba also has amazing white sand beaches and turquoise water that you will love swimming and diving in. Aruba has a lot of natural attractions like the largest natural coral bridge in the world and a wonderful national forest, but there are lots of other activities that you’ll find in Aruba to keep you busy.
If you’re going to Aruba during the high season or the most popular tourist season which is from December to April, you’ll be mingling with a lot of different tourists from all over the world. One thing to consider, if you are still in the planning stages of your honeymoon and wedding arrangements, is the fact that you can stretch your travel funds by visiting Aruba in the off-season.
Here are some travel tips that you can use to make the most of your honeymoon stay in Aruba.
Change your currency
The first thing that you should do when you get to Aruba is change about half of your money to local currency. The currency of Aruba is the florin. Leave some money in US dollars in case of emergencies and have your credit cards with you, just in case. But when it comes to leaving tips, buying food in markets, or shopping for souvenirs you will get better deals, and you will be less likely to get cheated if you are using local currency instead of US dollars.
This is perfectly logical. Currency exchange rates can fluctuate quite a bit day to day or even daily. Very few merchants are willing to keep up to the moment on the exchange rate. Your money will stretch much further if you exchange it at the local bank.
Furthermore, because of the fluctuations in exchange rates, not all merchants will accept US dollars. The hassle of converting the money probably plays a large role in their reluctance also. So if you insist on using US dollars to pay for something, be sure to ask the merchant in advance if he or she accepts US dollars for payment.
All of the above points are useful to keep in mind for any foreign honeymoon destination you are considering.
Get off the beaten track
Another way to make your trip more enjoyable is to get off the beaten tourist paths. Strike out on your own and explore some of the wild country of the island on horseback or find a sheltered beach to picnic on. If you’re shopping or eating out don’t just go to the shops at the hotel or near the hotel. Venture out into the cities and try some local cuisine so that you can pick up some local flavors. Most people in the cities are very friendly and love to talk to tourists. So strike up a conversation with a local over a cool drink and learn about the history of the island and what it’s like to live in Aruba from a native.
Support local businesses by buying souvenirs at local arts and crafts shows instead of buying mass produced trinkets in the hotel gift shops. When you go home from your honeymoon, you’ll be glad you have memories of seeing what the island was really like and talking to local people to pick up bits of local culture.
You’ll have great unique stories to tell about your honeymoon trip. You’ll have a much better sense of what Aruba is really like. You might even find that you like Aruba so much you want to vacation there again or even buy a vacation rental in Aruba so that you can visit every year. If you want to spend some time in a tropical paradise without having to spend your whole life’s savings to do it, then Aruba is the perfect honeymoon destination for you.
7 Safety Tips when Riding in a Foreign Taxi
October 23, 2008 by Dee
Filed under Budget Honeymoon Destinations, Caribbean, Cruising Honeymoon Destinations, Mexico, Vacation Packages, Your Honeymoon Destinations
If you are going overseas on your honeymoon, or to any foreign country, taxis will be part of your trip. Chances are you will not be renting a car. The hotel shuttles we are all accustomed to here in the US are a rarity in foreign countries. Riding a taxi can generally be safe. It’s at least safer than journeying through the subway with your luggage and other travel paraphernalia.
But lets be honest, there are things, bad things, that can happen when riding in a foreign taxi. You’ve probably heard the reports of kidnappings by taxi drivers in the news. If you’ve spent the last year of your life planning your wedding, had your big wedding day, then hopped a plane and flown several hours to your honeymoon destination, you are going to be very tired and very probably jet lagged. In this state, your normal street defenses are very likely to be impaired and small details that you normally would notice as red flags may escape you. Before boarding any kind of vehicle, consider your safety first and then be alert about your surroundings when traveling. The good thing, in this case, is there are two of you– if you both use your common sense, you will be safe.
Tip # 1 – Locate a taxi stand.
If you just came out of the airport, you can easily find taxi stands in and around the area. It will be a bit similar to what you have in your country. You just look for the line of taxis under a sign that you probably won’t be able to read and that will probably be it. If unsure, ask a policeman or security guard. In general terms, only cabs that are authorized by the government to board passengers are the ones that can park under these stands. This also means that the taxi driver is licensed. Never let drivers that are aggressive bully you into riding with them. They might have a more sinister intention than bringing you to your honeymoon destination.
Tip # 2 – Know something about the place where you’re heading.
You should have some general idea regarding how to reach your hotel or lodging destination. You can find foreign city maps on line, or you can contact the property where you are staying and ask for general directions. A few minutes invested in planning at home can prevent you from being taken advantage of there. Try to avoid shortcuts because this can confuse your memory and lead to other streets that you are unfamiliar with. Notice what direction you are traveling in. If you know from asking that your hotel is south and the taxi is going north be determined to ask about it. Otherwise, be prepared to make the cab stop if something seems wrong. As a last resort, jump out of your seat and ask for help.
Tip # 3 – Pay attention to cab similarities.
Look at the color of the taxi. Is it the same as the others? Do they have certain similarities that can reassure you that the cab is really safe? You can never trust a taxi that seems different from the others because in some places, thieves use fake cabs to get your money or sometimes more.
Tip # 4 – Keep your belongings close.
If you’re traveling abroad most likely you will have a lot of big, heavy luggage. It is probably not going to be possible for both of you and your luggage to be inside the cab. But at the very least, keep your carry ons with all your valuables and important papers inside with you. Keep them very close to you. Losing your papers and money in a foreign country is a far more serious matter than losing your luggage in case anything bad happens. This is why you should be very careful when selecting your cab in the first place.
Tip # 5 – Note phone numbers.
Taxi companies love advertising. That is why legitimate taxis are always plastered with company numbers either on the trunk, doors and roofs. Never get into a taxi that doesn’t have the company’s phone number on its interior or exterior surface.
Tip # 6 – Sharing alert.
Sharing your cab with someone can minimize your expenses and might give you a false sense of safety. Generally, you should not agree if your taxi driver wants someone to share with you no matter how
peaceful the stranger looks – especially in foreign countries. You could end up being kidnapped becausethe peaceful-faced stranger is wearing a mask and is actually a monster in league with the cab driver.
Tip # 7 – Pay attention to the door handle.
Open the door to the cab and check the inside door handle before allowing your luggage to be loaded into the trunk. Do not ride in a taxi when the door handle inside is malfunctioning or is broken. It would be very difficult for you to escape a predicament with a busted cab door.
Always have an emergency line where you can call local officials. When you are setting up your honeymoon trip abroad, be sure to ask for these numbers and check with your cell phone provider that your phone will have service where you’re journeying. If you use your common sense and plan ahead, especially in foreign countries, you will honeymoon safely.
